MS works was the predecessor to MS Office.

In 1993, the package contained a word processor, spreadsheet maker, database maker, drawing and painting. The drawing and painting program differed from each other greatly. In the drawing program, every shape made could always be selected as the individual shape made. In the painting program, as the user worked, the items they created became part of the canvas. In the early 90's, the undo option would only undo the most immediately previous action. Just after undoing, the action turned to "redo" on the edit menu until the user made another action.
